When politicians get together and make a gambling authority to oversee and track the casinos in Nevada, they inadvertently create one of the largest abuse of power and greed that exists in the world today. Why do I say this? Well, because the Gambling Commission and the politicians that made the commission, did so in order to safeguard the gaming industry from competition. Needless to say, the end result of this is obvious in the way that the gaming industry operates.

Maybe in retrospect, state and city leaders would also be better off if they had kept the Convention Center available and instead put on large events and putting all their hard-earned cash into a gambling facility which pays absolutely no taxes and only pays small amounts for using their property in the center of the largest city in the nation. The cause of this is simple; there is not any money in Macau, because Macau is bankrupt. The men and women who have the properties surrounding the Convention Center are simply interested in using the tax money that comes in, to cover their own executives and rent out their property. This is exactly what is happening in Las Vegas, with the Clark County Recreation and Parks Department.
